It was just another afternoon in her teens, but one of those that changed everything. Curious and passionate about sounds from around the world, she let herself be carried away by beats that defied boundaries. It was then that a friend lent her a CD with a vibrant cover: “Anokha – The Asian Underground”, by Talvin Singh.

HAFLA TARAB
This was a travelling multicultural event that took place in Lisbon over a 3 year period, and in online format during the pandemic. It brought together national and international artists from different artistic fields, such as music and dance. Below you can see the posters of the 16 editions of this event.
CERTIFICATES
In order to have the technique and knowledge of oriental dance, and to make fusions with other dance styles, I have to train continually. Therefore, I attend intensive courses with internationally acclaimed dance professionals of oriental dance and fusion. And I learn only with the best so that I can increase my dance vocabulary and keep improving my performance skills.
DANCE TRAINING
I took my first steps in belly dance in 2002. Since then I have attended weekly private classes and workshops and intensive courses with dance artists who are nationally and internationally acclaimed. These classes were not only of oriental dance, but also of other dance styles, such as Indian classical, Odissi style. Follow the history of my dance training up to the present day, which I continuously update.
